EV retrofitting means converting existing petrol or diesel-run vehicles into electric vehicles. This could be hybrid by retaining the existing ICE and adding Electric Motor + Controller and Lithium battery or fully electric by removing ICE.

Step 1: Purchase a brand-new vehicle of the target model (to ensure a non-deformed chassis).
Step 2: Use 3D scanning, design, analysis, and other high-end engineering methods and tools to reverse engineer the vehicle.
Step 3: Create a customized powertrain solution that adheres to all certification standards.
Step 4: Prototyping, internal testing, and certification are the final steps.
Step 5: Establishing manufacturing requirements
Step 6: Produce in bulk (for that one specific model) to recoup the investment.

Any authorized or multi-brand workshop should be able to meet the requirement for non-EV Kit-related service and repair. You can contact our nearest Dealership / Helpline no. for EV Kit related work. The OEM vehicle's warranty will be voided. The warranty on the EV Kit is valid according to the specifications.

According to the Central Motor Vehicles Rules (CMVR) in India, it is indeed allowed to legally retrofit certified EV conversion kits onto internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles. These certified EV conversion kits are specifically designed and tested to meet the regulatory standards
and safety requirements set forth by the CMVR.
